One more thing - we have planted bulbs along the front hedge to brighten it up a bit.

  2. An Update - 23 October 21

As you probably know, the Hall is open again and we are pleased to be welcoming people returning to us. We are staying with the guidelines and keeping the place clean.

We are looking at making a few improvements in the kitchen area, not for camping out, but to introduce better facilities for users.

Somewhere in the slightly distant future, we may have wi-fi available in the hall. There are one or two obstacles to overcome, but we will let you all know as soon as we receive confirmation.

In the meantime, the yoga classes are back; a puppy training class has started every week on Tuesdays (term time only); there has been an increase in children’s parties with bouncy castles; a baby shower, and the Art Group are restarting.

So, for the past year or so we've been holding everything together, ready to get going again. That's us, but how have you been having celebrations and get-togethers while social distancing?  We'd be interested, because there must have been some good, innovative ideas that you might like to share with us? If you were successful then maybe you would like to do it in the Hall, or we could borrow the ideas and make the Hall even  more available. It seems lockdown has encouraged people to  be more localised rather than go far afield for entertainment, so it would be great to take advantage of that.

If you'd like to share, you can use the contact form or one of the Ants on the front page. You may find it easier if you click on the comments link below.
